r <br /> 1260 Graphics Drive <br /> Modesto California <br /> 95351 <br /> 209 579 2221 <br /> Fax 209 579 2225 <br /> .� ASS OCIATES INC <br /> August 31, 1998 SEP a 21998 <br /> 62514 <br /> SAN JUAQUIN Y <br /> F,urj,IC HEAT-rH S_�RVtCFS <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IKEALf DIVISION <br /> Mr Michael Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> Subject Second Quarter 1998 Groundwater Monitoring Report for King Island Resort, <br /> 11530 West Eight Mile Road, Stockton, California Site Code 1557 <br /> Mr Infurna <br /> This letter report is presented to update site activities performed during second quarter 1998 at <br /> 11530 West Eight Mile Road, Stockton, California (Figure 1) Site activities included quarterly <br /> groundwater monitoring and sampling <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> The second quarter groundwater monitoring and sampling of monitoring wells MW 1 through MW6 <br /> was conducted by ATC Associates Inc personnel on June 23, 1998 Water level measurements <br /> were collected from all momtonng wells prior to purging and sampling <br /> Subsequent to monitoring, each well was purged by extracting a minimum of three well casing <br /> volumes of groundwater While purging, groundwater parameters (temperature, conductivity, and <br /> pH) were monitored and allowed to stabilize before water samples were collected Samples were <br /> collected using dedicated, disposable bailers with bottom emptying devices to reduce volatilization <br /> All purged groundwater was contained in 55-gallon drums approved for hazardous liquid storage <br /> on-site pending appropriate disposal Groundwater well purge and sample logs are contained in <br /> Attachment 1 <br /> The groundwater samples collected from each well were placed on ice and transported under <br /> chain-of-custody documentation to Sequoia Analytical (ELAP #1210) in Walnut Creek, <br /> California The groundwater samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel <br /> (TPHd), total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and <br /> xylenes (BTEX) utilizing EPA methods 801518020, and oxygenate fuel additives by EPA <br /> method 8260 <br /> W\625141quadIyl2gr-1998 doc 1 <br />
