Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) <br /> and nitrates with the results submitted to the Environmental Health Department prior to <br /> issuance of building permit(s). Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved <br /> laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> B. Applicant will need to get written approval from a public entity that will accept the proposed <br /> winery waste should applicant propose to haul winery wastewater offsite. That written <br /> acceptance shall be presented to the Environmental Health Department prior to final <br /> occupancy approval. <br /> C. An application for Report of Waste Discharge must be submitted to the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board prior to development (California Water Code, Article 4, Section <br /> 13260). <br /> D. If floor drains are required, they must be plumbed through a sand/oil separator and discharged <br /> to an above ground system approved by the Environmental Health Department. A registered <br /> engineer must design this system. The material collected in the above ground holding system <br /> must be analyzed for hazardous constituents prior to disposal. Specific test requirements may <br /> be obtained from the Environmental Health Department. A $260 plan check fee is required at <br /> the time of submittal. <br /> E. If hazardous material(s) and waste is stored on site, applicant(s) must register all regulated <br /> hazardous material and waste stored onsite at, cers.calepa.ca.gov, for all regulated Certified <br /> Unified Program Agency (CUPA) programs. <br /> F. If any quantity of hazardous waste is generated, a hazardous waste generator permit must be <br /> obtained from the EHD. The applicant must also obtain an EPA Identification Number, and <br /> comply with all applicable regulations. <br />
