The analytical results of
confirmation sampling from the four borings and the five samples taken from the over excavation of the pipeline
area demonstrate that any potential threat to groundwater has sufficiently been abated by this action. This
correspondence confirms the completion of the site investigation and remedial action for the Acetone tanks 39-1152-
01 and 39-1152-02 at this site.
Therefore, with the provision that the information provided to this agency was accurate and representative of
existing conditions, PHS/EHD has concluded that the site will be removed from the contaminated data base list.
i
Please be advised that this correspondence does not relieve you of any liability under the California Health and
Safety Code or the Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act for past, present, or future operations at the site.
Nor does it alleviate the responsibility to clean up existing, additional or previously unidentified conditions at the
site which cause or threatens to cause pollution or nuisance or otherwise pose a threat to water quality or public
health.
Please contact Steven Sasson Senior REHS at (209) 468-3459 if you have any questions.
Ernest M.
