(Delta) has been authorized by Ultramar Inc. (Ultramar) to. <br /> _ conduct quarterly ground water monitoring at Beacon Station No. 513, located at 401 West Kettieman <br /> Lane, Lodi, California. This letter report presents the results of quarterly ground water monitoring <br /> and sampling conducted on December 13, 1993. The location of the site is shown in Figure I and <br /> site features are illustrated in Figure 2. All work conducted at the site by Delta was performed in <br /> accordance with the field methods and procedures described in Enclosure A. <br /> Ground. Water Table Elevations, Flow Direction, and Hydraulic Gradient <br /> Ground water was present in the three monitoring wells at the site on December 13, 1993, at depths <br /> ranging from 63.81 to 64.08 feet below the top of the well casings. Ground water table <br /> measurements are presented in Table 1. A water table elevation map constructed from the ground <br /> water table measurements recorded on December 13, 1993, is included as Figure 3. The water table <br /> contours illustrated in Figure 3 indicate that the ground water flow direction was toward the southeast <br /> with a hydraulic gradient of approximately 0.003 foot per foot. <br /> Subjective Analysis <br /> t <br /> No measurable liquid-phase hydrocarbons or hydrocarbon sheens were present in the wells during <br /> the December 13, 1993, site visit. <br /> Analytical Results <br /> Ground water samples collected from each of the monitoring wells on December 13, 1993, were; <br /> submitted to a California-certified laboratory for analysis of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total <br /> xylenes, and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline. Sampling information data sheets are included <br /> in Enclosure B. A summary of ground water analytical test results is presented in Table 2. <br /> Delta Delivers Solutions <br />
