(Delta) has been authorized by Ultramar Inc. (Ultramar) to.
_ conduct quarterly ground water monitoring at Beacon Station No. 513, located at 401 West Kettieman
Lane, Lodi, California. This letter report presents the results of quarterly ground water monitoring
and sampling conducted on December 13, 1993. The location of the site is shown in Figure I and
site features are illustrated in Figure 2. All work conducted at the site by Delta was performed in
accordance with the field methods and procedures described in Enclosure A.
Ground. Water Table Elevations, Flow Direction, and Hydraulic Gradient
Ground water was present in the three monitoring wells at the site on December 13, 1993, at depths
ranging from 63.81 to 64.08 feet below the top of the well casings. Ground water table
measurements are presented in Table 1. A water table elevation map constructed from the ground
water table measurements recorded on December 13, 1993, is included as Figure 3. The water table
contours illustrated in Figure 3 indicate that the ground water flow direction was toward the southeast
with a hydraulic gradient of approximately 0.003 foot per foot.
Subjective Analysis
t
No measurable liquid-phase hydrocarbons or hydrocarbon sheens were present in the wells during
the December 13, 1993, site visit.
Analytical Results
Ground water samples collected from each of the monitoring wells on December 13, 1993, were;
submitted to a California-certified laboratory for analysis of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total
xylenes, and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline. Sampling information data sheets are included
in Enclosure B. A summary of ground water analytical test results is presented in Table 2.
Delta Delivers Solutions
