The report states that hand auger <br /> borings were drilled. <br /> Pursuant to the Code of San Joaquin County, Section 5-4000 et seq., a permit shall be secured for all test <br /> holes or soil borings. Work at the above mentioned site was completed without permit or guidance from j <br /> PHS/EHD. Therefore, enclosed is a permit application to be completed by you and returned to this <br /> department along with the permit and penalty fees totalling$178.00. Of primary concernto this department <br /> is the destruction of soil borings, especially at sites with known contamination.
