All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Life ring rope tangled.The life ring should be ready to deploy at any time. Untangled onsite. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained,readily visible,and available for use.Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br /> (CCR 65540) <br /> #16 Water Clarity <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Cloudiness observed at the bottom of the pool. Clear water by today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain clear pool water while pool is in use or shall close the pool if the bottom of the <br /> pool at the maximum depth is not clearly visible from the deck. (CCR 65527) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Black algae growing in a'spot'pattern on the pool shell. Clean the algae before the next routine <br /> inspection. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br /> in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides,and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br /> and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Weir flap is broken, replace the weir flap before the next routine inspection. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br /> maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
