The work performed at the subject site
included collecting depth-to-groundwater measurements from eight groundwater monitoring
wells, purging and sampling eight wells, and submitting the groundwater samples to SPL Inc.
(SPL), an analytical laboratory located in Houston, Texas and certified by the State of
California Department of Toxic Substance Control for analysis of hazardous materials Field
work was performed following the procedures outlined in Attachment A.
Summary of Findings
Depth-to-water measurements were collected using an oil-water interface probe. Free product
was not identified in any of the monitoring wells. A minimum of three well volumes was
purged from each of the monitoring wells prior to sampling, except for Well MW-3, which
dried out during the purging process. Samples were collected from each of the monitonng
wells, transferred to the appropnate sampling vials, and submitted to SPL under appropriate
chain of custody. In addition, a duplicate sample was collected from Well MW-7 and a field
blank was prepared prior to sampling Well MW-7. A trip blank was prepared by SPL and -
accompanied the samples during shipping. SPL reported receiving the samples at a
temperature of 3° Celsius. Samples were analyzed by SPL, Inc, for total petroleum I,
hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene isomers,
following Environmental Protection Agency Methods 8015 modified and 8020.
I I I' OlA3H91C\S.ite11769Q1'RLXRPI1Q06181R1'Ei-39A4 WPS I I I I E` I I I I I I` I I I I I i I
11I I
I HPLaerlli
II I I I I III I I ` !I I EI
II
I I
I r III I II I I
III I I_ I II I I I I I _ill II I { EII` I _IIIA II [ I''III I II I.I, Illi' it 1 II If III!
