Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the
sender and know the content is safe .
Hi Moonie ,
I took a look at our Abandoned UST Report and talked with USEPA . It looks like Redhorse worked with USEPA to pump
5 , 750 gallons of product out of the tank and " sealed " the tank . The tank is out of compliance because it has yet to be
permanently closed ( removed or filled in place in accordance with a permit issued from your CUPA) . We assisted in
removing the product to remove the environmental risk but the tank needs to be permanently closed . The reason why
you can visually see a little concrete is because the tank was "sealed " with a rubber plug ( the kind used for tightness
testing ) , and then the plug was covered with concrete to discourage removal of the plug . The tank was not filled just the
fill pipe to discourage the possibility of the tank being used to store anything else .
Please reach out with any additional questions .
Sincerely,
Hannah Thompson , PMP
Program Manager
Redhorse Corporation
156 2nd Street
San Francisco , CA 94105
C : ( 415 ) 314 - 5530
1
