Fidel had Roto-Rooter out to hydro get his line and sewage came up from the clean out. Fidel reported this to EHD immediately. Sand from a possible collapsed pipe came out of the clean out as well. There may be a collapse under the street. Troy from Public Works was out there to make sure that none of the sewage went into the storm drains. Troy and his crew created a sand barrier and sucked up the sewage. Since Fidel's property is part of the Country Club Sewer District his responsibility goes all the way to main line under the street. I told Fidel that the issues may not be his fault but as the property owner he may still be liable. I also told him to get a portable toilet or stay at a hotel because if there is continued surfacing sewage we may issue him a Notice and Code Enforcement may red tag his house. 09/27/2021 Stopped by the site as instructed by JW. I discovered that Mike S had been out GOODERHAM here already. At the time of inspection I did not see any surfacing sewage but it was apparent that the pipes connecting to the main sewer were not functioning. According to a letter from the sewer district the owners are responsible for the plumbing from the house to the main sewer line. Owner said that the pipe is a clay pipe and is collapsed causing the backup. Owner said the repair estimate was $40,000. I told the owner I would look more into situation and that I wouldn't be much help to him because they are on a public sewer connection. But I did not see surfacing sewage when I was there. 09/27/2021 Grange 2030. Received complaint from WN; assigned it to AG since MS is out WONG sick today. 09/28/2021 Discussed the situation with Aaron G as he went out the previous day. SUSZYCKI 11/01/2021 Visited the property for a status check. I did not see any surfacing sewage and SUSZYCKI sand was surrounding the clean out to prevent any spread if the sewage were to surface again. 5105.rpt Page 1 of 2
