COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />12:50 pm <br />12:00 pm <br />Time Out: <br />Time In: <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Name of Facility: NORIEGA'S CHICKEN GRILL Date: 06/30/2022 <br />Address: 234 E LODI AVE, LODI 95240 <br />Owner/Operator: RAMIREZ, ARACELI Telephone: (209) 625-8741 <br />Program Element: 1600 - FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: CO0055002 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />COMPLAINANT ORDERED FOOD FROM RESTAURANT ON 6/18/22 AT 5:30 PM. COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THEY <br />FOUND MULTIPLE SMALL ROCKS IN THEIR WIFE'S BURRITO. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #7 Hot and Cold Holding Temperatures Major <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed grilled jalapeños in tray on counter at cutting table, the jalapeños were 90 F. Per manager they <br />were cooked about 30 minutes prior. Keep potentially hazardous food items at 135 F or above when hot holding. Corrected <br />on site, jalapeños were reheated and placed in 1 dr Cozoc display warmer. <br />Observed several packages of frozen meat sitting in trays on floor between 2 dr Nord and prep sink. Per manager they were <br />going to be cleaned before being put in the refrigerator. Keep potentially hazardous food items at 41 F or below unless being <br />actively prepped. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Potentially hazardous foods shall be held at or below 41/ 45°F or at or above 135°F. (113996, 113998, <br />114037, 114343(a)) <br /> #1 Demonstration of Knowledge <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed 2 expired food handler cards and food handler cards for other employees were not available <br />during the inspection. Provide food handler cards for employees within 30 days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food employees shall have adequate knowledge of and be trained in food safety as it relates to their <br />assigned duties. (113947) Food facilities that prepare, handle or serve non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food, shall have an <br />employee who has passed an approved food safety certification examination. (113947-113947.1) Any food handler hired after June 1, <br />2011 shall obtain a Food Handler Card within 30 days (113948). <br /> #27 Food Protected from Contamination <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed cup used as scoop for sugar. Provide scoop with handle to prevent contamination. Correct <br />today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food shall be separated and protected from contamination.
