All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The following signs are faded. Provide within one week. <br /> -Keep closed sign <br /> -Facility address <br /> The diarrhea sign is not located at the entrance area of the pool. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535)Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole,gate, or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 31208) <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The underwater light is not functioning. Per Ricky Inn, maintenance supervisor, the GFCI/electrical <br /> connection was removed and will be installed at a later date. Unable to verified GFCI <br /> Repair/replace the underwater light, or post a sign in 4-inch letters stating"NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK" <br /> immediately. <br /> Secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night,pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br /> not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating"NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and shall <br /> secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (31156) <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The free chlorine was measured more than 12 ppm. Reduce and maintain the free chlorine between 2.0 <br /> ppm to 10 ppm. Correct immediately.The pool shall be closed and shall not be reopen until the free chlorine is between 2.0 <br /> ppm to 10.00 ppm. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine.
