Called SJGH. Samantha of CHP reported a BAKER <br />100 gallon diesel spill on eastbound 205 at Grant Line Rd. Reference number log <br />45. <br />6:10am-Called CHP at 209-943-8600. CalTrans has been notified and the <br />estimated time of arrival is 30 minutes. <br />6:27am-Left for site. Arrived on site at 7:37 am. <br />Met with Juan Armendarez of CalTrans. Approximately 48 gallons of diesel was <br />released across all three lanes of freeway. Spill was contained with absorbent. <br />No storm drains or water ways impacted. Punctured saddle tank was patched. <br />Caltrans will bring more absorbent and conduct clean-up with a sweeper truck. <br />Waste will be taken to yard at 2500 Krohn Rd. in Tracy. Responsible party has <br />hired Ancon to pick up waste for disposal. <br />Generated complaint. Completed Emergency Response Record, Prop 65 and site <br />map. Wrote DIR. Emailed OIR to rbspencer1961@aol.com. <br />Completed photo log. <br />CalTrans finished clean-up. Left site at 9:05am <br />Four 55 gallon drums of diesel contaminated absorbent generated from clean-up <br />6:05am-9:45am <br />03/14/2023 Received final manifest. Four drums of diesel debris (800 pounds) was disposed <br />of on manifest 022228736JJK on 2/9/23. <br />Abated complaint as 01-Field Response, violations cited and corrected.
