All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #14 Food Contact Surfaces Sanitized or Warewashing Sanitization <br />OBSERVATIONS: Sanitizing solution buckets with wiping cloths were not set up at the facility. Provide chlorine <br />concentration at a minimum of 100 Parts Per Million (PPM) or quat sanitizer at 200 PPM minimum for proper sanitation of all <br />food preparation and contact surfaces. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food contact surfaces of utensils and equipment shall be clean and sanitized. Implement pest control to remove gnats from food prep <br />and service areas. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br /> #29 Toxic Substances Properly Identified/Stored/Used <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed two canisters of Raid in the bar. Remove all cans of Raid and only use food-grade pest <br />control inside the kitchen and food preparation area. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All poisonous substances, detergents, bleaches, and cleaning compounds shall be stored separate from food, <br />utensils, packing material and food-contact surfaces. (114254, 114254.1, 114254.2) <br /> #30 Food Storage/Display Properly Labeled <br />OBSERVATIONS: Two bags of onions were observed on the floor next to the ice machine. Store food items a minimum of <br />6 inches off the ground. This was corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food shall be stored in approved containers and labeled as to contents. Food shall be stored at least 6" <br />above the floor on approved shelving.
