Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health and have the <br />potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of the food facility. <br />#21 Hot and Cold Potable Water Not Available <br />OBSERVATIONS: Facility has two hot water heaters. The water heater on the west half of the facility was off but turned on <br />during the inspection. The mop sink and restroom hand sinks were observed at less than 100 F during the inspection. The water <br />heater on the east half of the facility was turned on but not providing hot water at 120 F for the ware wash sink. Adjust both hot <br />water heaters to provide 120 F minimum. Correct today. <br />Provide proof of correction showing the mop sink at 120 F and the restroom hand sink at 100 F to 209-561-8923 or <br />cmuro@sjgov.org. <br />---------------------------------------- <br />The cold water knob at the mop sink is stuck and will not open. Repair knob to ensure cold water is available at this hand sink. <br />Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided at all <br />times.
