p. County projects requesting utility companies to relocate their lines will be exempt <br /> from fees. <br /> q. Any other exemption of permit fees have to be authorized by Deputy Director. <br /> 3. Annual Encroachment Permit: <br /> a. The annual permit allows the utility company to do maintenance work on their <br /> existing facilities encroaching in County right-of-way, such as replacing telephone <br /> lines, etc. Any work requiring repair of road will not be covered by the annual <br /> permit. <br /> b. The fee is $40.00,no copy to Field Engineering. <br /> C. No final card,but, SS/WW form shall be attached to the permit. <br /> d. Distribution of the copies is the same as a regular permit. <br /> 4. Geophysical Permit: <br /> a. The permit fee is $150.00. <br /> b. Use the regular encroachment permit form. (Exhibit"C") <br /> C. Chose as many of the following five(5) paragraphs that pertain to the application. <br /> 1. A copy of this permit shall be carried with the crew, in the field, at all <br /> times when performing work under this permit. It shall be submitted for <br /> inspection on demand of any authorized representative of the Public <br /> Works Department. <br /> 2. Cable crossing roadways,driveways, etc. shall be anchored(both sides)to <br /> prevent movement by vehicular traffic. In no case shall vehicular traffic or <br /> pedestrian traffic be stopped or blocked. <br /> �3. This permit for geophysical survey work is valid off pavement and only at <br /> locations where permission of property owners has been obtained as stated <br /> in the agreement with the County, and as per attached map. <br /> 4. This permit for cable only - no vibrating will be done in County road <br /> right-of-way. <br /> 5. The applicant shall obtain a permit from the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Division as required when"Shot"method is <br /> utilized. <br />
