Price <br /> Dear Mr. Cooper: <br /> The project consists of installation of a monitoring well approximately five (5) feet from <br /> the edge of pavement on the southern edge of Durham Ferry Road. The installation of <br /> this well should take no longer than six (6) hours. This is a rural area and pedestrian <br /> traffic is not likely, however access to the existing crosswalks will not be blocked. A <br /> traffic control map showing sign locations, work area and cone placement is attached. <br /> The traffic control plan is as follows: <br /> Personnel and Site Conditions <br /> • All workers will wear brightly colored vests (orange and/or fluorescent yellow). <br /> • All workers will undergo a safety meeting addressing traffic safety issues. <br /> • Crosswalks and pedestrian walkways will remain open and unobstructed. <br /> • Pedestrians will be kept 30 feet from the Work Area. <br /> Signs and Traffic Cones--See Attached Man <br /> • Road Work Ahead sign will be placed on north bound Highway 33 approximately <br /> 250 feet before the Durham Ferry Road intersection. <br /> • Road Work Ahead sign will be placed on south bound Highway 33 approximately <br /> 250 feet before the Durham Ferry Road intersection. <br /> • Road Work Ahead sign will be placed on east bound Durham Ferry Road near the <br /> stop sign at the intersection of Durham Ferry Road and Highway 33. <br />
