Louise Avenue to Lathrop Road. This closure is for a boring
. Alternatives to the closure were analyzed an
operation under the railroad tracksd rejected
as not feasible or affected public safety. This closure was discussed with the
transportation coordination committee of August 30th and all comments were
incorporated.
The closure was planned to begin September 18 and end in four weeks. However,
an unmarked fiber optics cable has caused to the boring to re-start in a new alignment.
Work will now be completed October 30. The permit needs to be extended.
Pulte Homes is allowing property owners to have access to their property during
construction, and detour signs are in place to direct traffic. My recommendation is to
allow the applicant to temporarily close the above stated portion of Airport Way with the
Proper detour signs to direct traffic till the October 30 date. Tom Okamoto from Traffic
Engineering, have reviewed and concur with the temporary road closure that is planned to
be performed on Airport Way.
Approved by: %v
