Pacific Gas & Electric Co. 12/6/07
GC Gas Department
P.O. Box 930
Stockton, CA 95201
(209)942-1745
SJ County Public Works
Encroachment Permit Desk
RE: Permit #EP-07-271-ES
To Whom It May Concern,
Due to the width of Marsh St. and Ardelle St. we are requesting permission to
restrict traffic to allow local access only (no through traffic) when heavy
equipment is in operation. The areas of concern are Marsh St. from Walker Ln.
to Bird Ave, as well as Ardelle St. from Cardinal Ave. to Bird Ave.
We will close only a single block at any one time. Due to the large scale of this
project we are unable to give you specific closure dates at this time. We
anticipate closures to be requested starting approximately 1/8/08, and to be
requested intermittently throughout the project which should last until around
2/28/08.
All required Agencies as well as the local residents will be notified a minimum of
24 hours in advance of any closure. All roads will be reopened at the end of
each work day.
All signage will be lin accordance with CALTRANS Manual of Traffic Controls for
Construction and Maintenance Work Zones.
Attached are our proposed traffic control plans.
Thank-You,
Randy Madera
Sr. Field Engineer Tech
Pacific Gas & Electric Co.
(209)942-1748
