BEFORE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> R-07 512 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF LOUIE LANE IN THE <br /> TOWN OF LINDEN, BETWEEN BROVELLI LANE AND 150 FEET NORTH ON LOUIE LANE <br /> FOR A BLOCK PARTY <br /> WHEREAS, Raymus Homes, Inc., hereinafter referred to as APPLICANT, has applied for <br /> permission to temporarily close Louie Lane in the Town of Linden for a time period of 3:30 p.m. <br /> to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2007 for the purpose of a block party. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is the finding of this Board of Supervisors <br /> that, as authorized by Section 10-2700 of the Ordinance Code of San Joaquin County, it is <br /> necessary for the protection of the public to grant permission to close Louie Lane in the Town of <br /> Linden, between Brovelli Lane and 150 feet north on Louie Lane for the hours from 3:30 p.m. to <br /> 7:00 p.m. on September 15,, 2007 for the purpose of a block party. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this action shall be subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. That an Encroachment Permit shall be obtained from the Department of <br /> Public Works for the temporary road closure. <br /> 2. That the performance of any procedures related to this Permit shall constitute an <br /> acceptance of all the provisions contained herein and failure on APPLICANT'S <br /> part to comply with any provision will be cause for revocation of this Permit. <br /> 3. Provisions shall be made for the passage of local traffic. <br /> 4. That should emergency conditions arise during the road closure period, temporary <br /> opening of the road shall be implemented immediately by APPLICANT. <br /> 5. That APPLICANT shall furnish and maintain any and all traffic control devices <br /> necessary to ensure the protection of the traveling public in accordance with all <br /> Federal, State, and County regulations, including terms, conditions, and/or <br /> restrictions stated herein or attached hereto. <br /> 6. That APPLICANT will immediately make such repairs or perform any necessary <br /> work as required to leave the specified portion of County Highway in as neat, <br /> clean, and usable condition as existed prior to encroachment. <br /> 7. That APPLICANT will assume full responsibility for all liability for personal injury or <br /> damage to property, which may arise out of special road use described above, or <br />
