No work in traffic lanes. <br /> Traffic controls measures per California Department of Transportation — Manual <br /> of Traffic Controls. Typical application 5-6 — shoulder work with minor <br /> encroachment:. <br /> All work site employees shall wear high visibility flagger's vest, safety shoes and <br /> hard hats. Other safety equipment such as hearing and eye protection will be <br /> required as conditions mandate. <br /> Traffic Control Measures <br /> Men working sign placed 500' out from each end of the work space. <br /> Cones placed at 50' intervals between the traffic lane and work area. <br /> Cone channelizing taper will be placed to close the shoulder in advance, to <br /> delineate the beginning of the work space and direct vehicular traffic to remain <br /> within the traveled way. <br />
