1. Coordinate all work with the serving Power Utility Pacific Gas & Electric <br /> (PG&E)for the work shown on Contract Drawings. This coordination includes: <br /> a. The Contractor shall obtain the required inspections. <br /> b. Submit to the power Utility the proposed metering details. Provide a <br /> written statement to Owner from the Utility that shows approval of the <br /> proposed metering. <br /> C. All work associated with material and installation for the Utility power <br /> service not paid by the Utility shall be borne by the Contractor. The <br /> Contractor shall provide and install all material, conduits, wiring, pull <br /> ropes, pole risers, pull boxes, transformer pads, bollards, etc. as shown <br /> on Power Utility engineered drawings for new power service. <br /> d. All fees and charges of the Utility power for service hook-up will be paid <br /> ay the Owner. <br /> e. All work shall meet the requirements of the serving power Utility <br /> company. <br /> D. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to make all equipment approval <br /> arrangements and scheduling with the power utility company connected with this <br /> project. Schedule within 30 days after award of contract all service installations and <br /> connections with the power Utility. Lack of effort by the Contractor to properly <br /> schedule Utility service will not be considered valid justification for delays in project <br /> completion and no extension in contract time will be given. <br /> E. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining Utility Engineered drawings for service <br /> conductor conduits, pull boxes, wire size requirements, pull rope requirements, etc. <br /> Conflicts between the Contract drawings and the Utility Engineered drawings shall <br /> be brought to the attention of the Engineer. <br /> F. The Contractor shall cease work at any particular point, temporarily, and transfer his <br /> operations to such portions of work as directed, when in the judgment of the <br /> Engineer it is necessary to do so. <br /> G. Prior to commencing the first submittal, the Contractor shall arrange a conference <br /> with the Owner, and Electrical Contractor, System Supplier vital to the current phase <br /> of work, and shall verify types, sizes, locations, and installation requirements. The <br /> Contractor shall, in writing, inform the Engineer that all phases of coordination of this <br /> equipment have been covered and if there are any unusual conditions, they shall be <br /> enumerated at this time. The conference shall be held at the Owner's facilitv and is <br /> expected to last six hours. <br /> H. Before begirning LLC & OI software development, meet with Owner for a four (4) <br /> hour Design Definition Meeting at Owner's facility. <br /> 1. Ensure that the Contractor Project Manager, LLC&OI software programmers <br /> and Engineer & Owner are in attendance. <br /> 2. LCC & OI programmers are to provide software preliminary LLC software &OI <br /> graphic; layout submittals for review and discussion 10 working days prior to <br /> meeting. <br /> July 2007 Division III-182 NEI Phase II Water and Sewer <br /> CIP Nos. 7468, 7589, 7590 <br />
