e. No more than two field wires are to be inserted in any single terminal <br /> block. <br /> f. All LLC spare 1/0 points including spares shall be wired to terminal <br /> blocks. <br /> 3. Miscellaneous - Terminal Blocks, for locations other than Control Panels _ <br /> a. Provide terminal blocks rate a minimum of 20 amps at 600VAC. <br /> b. Terminal blocks shall be Buchanan 500 series, or approved equal. <br /> C. Fuse Blocks shall be Connection NDF-F1 with PF-1 fuse puller or <br /> approved equal. _ <br /> F. CIRCUIT BREAKERS <br /> 1. Circuit breakers shall be of the indicating type, providing ON, OFF and <br /> TRIPPED positions of the operating handle. Circuit breakers shall be quick- <br /> make, quick-break, with thermal-magnetic action, except when protecting <br /> motor feeders where motor circuit protector (MCP) breakers with adjustable <br /> magnetic trip shall be used. Circuit breakers shall be the bolted on type. The _ <br /> use of tandem or dual circuit breakers in a normal single-pole space to provide <br /> the number of poles or spaces specified are not acceptable. All multiple-pole <br /> circuit breakers shall be designed so that an overload on one pole <br /> automatically causes all poles to open. Circuit breakers and motor circuit <br /> protectors shall be manufactured by Cutler Hammer or approved equal. <br /> 2. Breakers shall be sized and have a minimum interrupting capacity as shown <br /> on Drawings and as required for the supplied equipment. <br /> G. ELAPSED TIME METERS _ <br /> 1. Elapsed time meters (ETM)for general use shall be nonresettable with 0.0 to <br /> 99,999.9 hour readout, permanently lubricated synchronous motor drive, <br /> nominal 2-1/2" circular two-hole surface mount housing, screw terminals, and <br /> rated at 120 VAC, at 60 Hz. Elapsed time meters shall be Cramer 635, <br /> Stemco-Engler Series 210, or approved equal. <br /> H. MOTOR STARTERS <br /> 1. Contactors <br /> a. Motor starters (M) shall be magnetically operated, electrically held, full <br /> voltage, nonreversing except as shown on the Drawings. NEMA sizes <br /> shall be as required for the horsepower of the motor supplied. Starters <br /> that are not NEMA rated are not acceptable. Contactors shall be U.L. _ <br /> rated and listed. Motor starters shall be Allen-Bradley, GE, Cutler- <br /> Hammer Freedom or approved equal. <br /> 2. Each motor starter shall have a 120 volt operating coil rated for continuous — <br /> operation. <br /> 3. Auxiliary contacts shall be provided as shown on the Drawings or as required. <br /> Each motor starter shall be furnished with a minimum of 2 spare auxiliary <br /> contacts in excess from those shown to be used.
