Each level switch shall utilize a Polypropylene float which moves with liquid <br /> level to actuate a hermetically sealed (non-mercury) microswitch. The level <br /> switch shall have Form "C" contacts with a minimum electrical with switch <br /> rating of 16 Amp at 120VAC. The float switch cable shall be secured with <br /> stainless steel straps. The level switch shall be MJK7030, Danfoss 7030, or <br /> approved equal. <br /> C. Flood Switch <br /> 1. The level switch shall utilize a Buna-N level with slosh shield that moves with <br /> liquid level to actuate a SPST (single pole, single throw) NC switch. The <br /> switch contact shall open with rising level. The level switch shall have a <br /> minimum electrical switch rating of 20 VA at 120 VAC. The level switch shall <br /> have an operating temperature range of-40°to +180°F. The level switch shall <br /> July 2007 Division III-198 NEI Phase II Water and Sewer <br /> CIP Nos. 7468, 7589, 7590 <br />
