3) Provide 1/2"foam dielectric"superflexible"coaxial cable assembly
for connecting the lighting arrester to the antenna. The cable shall
be installed as one continuous length from the antenna"pigtail"to
the in-line lighting arrester. Use Andrew FSJ1-50A 1/2"
superflexible coax cable.
4) Provide miscellaneous hardware such as grounding kits, hanger -
kits, and feed through assemblies.
5) The cable shall be carefully installed to prevent damage to the
jacket and routed with a minimum bending radius of 6 inches.
6) Type "N" in-line connectors shall be utilized at the terminations
and shall be protected from weather by a vapor-wrap application.
Provide Type N connectors with weatherproof"0" ring seals, as
recommended by the coaxial cable manufacturer.
7) Provide connector weatherproofing kits for outdoor exposed
connectors and grounding strap attachments.
2.09 VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM
A. Video system shall consist of one video camera with power supplies, and all
necessary wiring, conduit, mounting brackets and terminations required for
installation. Camera System shall be Bullet Camera as supplied by 123cctv.com or --
approved equal.
1. Cameras System shall consist of Sony 1/3" CCD Color Bullet Camera. --
Cameras to have 3.6mm lens rated for outdoor weatherproof installation with
mounting brackets and 0.2 lux sensitivity with automatic switchover to black
and white. Cameras to have 12 volt DC power supply. Provide cabling for
power and video signal to each location from Pedestal.
2.10 AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH
A. SWITCH UNIT
1. The transfer switch unit shall be electrically operated and mechanically held.
The electrical operator shall be a single solenoid mechanism, momentarily _
energized to minimize power consumption and heat generation.
2. ATS types utilizing components of molded-case circuit breakers, contactors,or
parts thereof, are not acceptable.
3. The switch shall be true double-throw with inherently interlocked construction.
The switch shall be mechanically interlocked to ensure only one of two
possible positions, normal or emergency.
4. Wide contact gaps shall be provided to insure positive isolation of the normal
and emergency power sources. --
5. The switch shall be rated to withstand symmetrical short circuit current at the
ATS terminals in combination with normal or emergencyfeeder breakers rated
equal to or greater than RMS symmetrical amperes shown on Contract —
Drawings.
Division III-203 NEI Phase II Water and Sewer
July 2007 CIP Nos. 7468, 7589, 7590
