The factory test will be considered complete only when the integrated system <br /> has successfully passed all tests to the satisfaction of the Owner or Engineer <br /> and the Factory Test checkout form TF11 has been signed &dated by Owner. <br /> No electrical equipment shall be shipped to jobsite without authorization from <br /> the Owner or Engineer that the factory test has been completed. <br /> 9. Acceptance and witnessing of the factory tests does not relieve or exclude the <br /> Contractor from conforming to the requirements of the Contract Documents. <br /> 10. The testing personnel shall provide all material, equipment, labor and technical <br /> supervision to perform such tests and inspections. <br /> 11. During the testing period, under the supervision of the supplier, the Engineer <br /> and other Owner personnel shall have unlimited and unrestricted access to the <br /> usage and testing of all hardware and software in the system. <br /> 12. Spare parts for the system shall also be tested during this test period. The <br /> supplier shall prove by temporarily connecting the spare hardware to the <br /> system that any or all of the spare parts function in a manner equivalent to the <br /> original equipment under test. <br /> 13. The Contractor shall pay all expenses incurred by his personnel which <br /> includes labor, material, transportation, lodging, daily subsistence, and other <br /> associated incidental costs during the factory testing. <br /> 14. Faulty and/or incorrect hardware operation of major portions of the system <br /> may, at the discretion of the Owner Engineer, be cause for suspension or <br /> restarting of the entire factory test, at no additional cost to the Owner or <br /> extension in contract time. <br /> 15. The factory test will be considered complete only when the system setup has <br /> successfully passed all tests both structured and unstructured to the <br /> satisfaction of the Owner Engineer. No equipment shall be installed without <br /> authorization from the Owner Engineer that the factory test has been <br /> completed. <br /> 16. All modifications to drawings and documentation as a result of the factory tests <br /> shall be corrected and completed before shipment of drawings with equipment <br /> and the submittal and delivery of`operation and maintenance" manuals. <br /> 17. Copies of the completed, signed, and witnessed factory testing forms shall be <br /> planed in the Operation and Maintenance Manual. <br /> E. Electrical Field Tests <br /> 1. The Contractor shall engage and payfor the services of an approved qualified <br /> testing company for the purpose of performing inspections and tests as herein <br /> specified. The testing company shall provide all material, equipment, labor and <br /> technical supervision to perform such tests and inspections. The Electrical <br /> Contractor shall be present on site for all field tests. <br /> 2.
