BID PROPOSAL <br /> TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TRACY -- <br /> FOR: <br /> NORTHEAST INDUSTRIAL PHASE II WATER AND SEWER PROJECT - <br /> CIP Nos. 7468, 7589, 7590 <br /> Name of Bidder: <br /> Business Address: <br /> Phone: -The work to be done and referred to herein is in the City of Tracy, County of San Joaquin, State <br /> of California, and shall be constructed in accordance with all Provisions of these Specifications <br /> (including the payment of not less than the minimum wage rates set forth therein) and the — <br /> Contract annexed hereto and also in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Public <br /> Works Construction, "Greenbook", current edition, and as amended by the City of Tracy <br /> Standard Plans or Specifications, (including any updating amendments), the labor surcharge <br /> and equipment rental rates in effect on the date the work is accomplished and the latest issue <br /> of the General Prevailing Wage Rates. <br /> The work to be done is shown upon the plans and Special Provisions. <br /> The bidder shall set forth for each unit basis item of work a unit price and a total for the item, _ <br /> and for each lump sum item a total for the item, all in clearly legible figures in the respective <br /> spaces provided for this purpose. <br /> If the City shall accept this bid and the undersigned shall fail to enter into the contract after the <br /> bidder has received notice from the City that the contract has been awarded, the City may, at its <br /> option, determine that the bidder has breached the contract, and thereupon, the bid security <br /> shall be forfeited to the City. <br /> The undersigned declares that the only persons or parties interested in this proposal as _ <br /> principals are those named herein; that this bid is made without collusion with any other person, <br /> firm or corporation; that he has carefully examined the location of the proposed work, that he <br /> has examined the plans and specifications, read the accompanying instruction to bidders, and <br /> investigated the location of underground utilities, project limits, and hereby proposed to furnish <br /> all materials and do all the work required to complete the said work in accordance with said <br /> plans, if any, and specifications and special provisions, for the unit price or lump sum set forth — <br /> in the following attached schedules. <br /> The undersigned further agrees that in case of default or breach in executing the required <br /> contract within ten (10) calendarays ater ving his bid receia Notice of Award of ved <br /> become the property of theact, the <br /> City of <br /> proceeds of the check or bond accompanying <br /> Tracy. <br /> Division IV-1 NEI Phase II Water and Sewer <br /> July 2007 CIP Nos. 7468, 7589,7590 <br />
