SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR <br /> ENCROACHMENT PERMIT <br /> SRCSD WALNUT GROVE SEWER PROJECT <br /> 1. Work hours in the County right-of-way are restricted to 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. <br /> 2. Trench cutting and other work in the County right-of-way (excluding potholing and/or boring) shall <br /> not start until July 1, 2008. <br /> 3. Potholing and/or boring is allowed beginning June 19, 2008. <br /> 4. No trench cutting of County roads shall occur between December 1, 2008 and March 31, 2009 <br /> without prior authorization by the County. <br /> 5. Final paving for trench repair or road resurfacing shall be per Caltrans' specifications and shall <br /> not occur between December 1, 2008 and March 31, 2009 unless authorized by the County. <br /> 6. Work within all County right-of-way roads shall be coordinated with the agricultural harvest <br /> periods as determined by the County. No work within County right-of-way shall be permitted <br /> during identified agricultural harvests without prior authorization by the County. <br /> 7. Access to all properties shall be maintained at all times except when work is occurring at the <br /> access point. Minimal delays will be allowed to provide access within the work zone area. <br /> Driveway access shall be fully restored at the end of each workday. Driveways disturbed by the <br /> contractor shall be replaced with in-kind or better materials. <br /> 8. A report describing a public information campaign to inform affected residents and businesses <br /> shall be submitted to the County for approval prior to beginning work. Residents and businesses <br /> shall be notified in writing, as approved by the County, a minimum of 48-hours in advance of any <br /> impacts to their access. <br /> 9. Parking and/or storage of construction material and/or equipment within the County right-of-way <br /> will not be allowed without written authorization by the County engineer. <br /> 10. School buses shall be passed through the work zone with minimal delay. <br /> 11. Maintain traffic controls for all roads. Traffic control delays shall not exceed 15 minutes. <br /> Two-way traffic shall be maintained during non-working hours with excavated areas backfilled or <br /> plated. During working hours, two-way traffic control shall be maintained with one lane open and <br /> appropriate flaggers. The contractor shall submit traffic control plans for all signing, detours, and <br /> any lane closure impacting County right-of-way. Traffic control plans shall be submitted two <br /> weeks prior to the closure date. <br /> 12. A County Watercourse Encroachment Permit shall be obtained from the County Flood Division for <br /> all work done in or under any waterways. <br />
