DAVIS ROAD <br /> PIPELINE CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES <br /> NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE <br /> The City of Stockton will soon begin pipeline construction activities assn <br /> ated <br /> with the Delta Water Supply Project on N. Davis Road. In an effort to provide <br /> a safe work zone for construction crews and the traveling public and to <br /> expedite and complete construction efforts prior to the rainy season, N. Davis <br /> Road will be closed to through traffic in both directions between Eight <br /> Mile and Armstrong Roads October 4 - November 1, 2010. <br /> However, access to local businesses, residences and emergency <br /> vehicles will be maintained at all times and signage will be posted <br /> accordingly to inform the general public. We ask that you proceed with <br /> caution and be aware of construction operations and personnel in the area. If <br /> you reside north of the railroad tracks, it is recommended that you approach <br /> your residence from the north via Thornton Road or Lower Sacramento Road <br /> in an effort to avoid construction activities which will be occurring south of the <br /> railroad tracks to Eight Mile Road. <br /> For your convenience, a map of the affected area can be found on the <br /> reverse side of this notice. <br /> We appreciate your cooperation as construction crews continue to strive for a <br /> safe construction .zone while making these additions to the City's water <br /> system. <br /> Should you have any questions regarding these construction activities, please <br /> contact Melissa Price with the City of Stockton at (209) 639-1543. <br /> Additional project information may be found on our website at: <br /> www.deltawatersupplyproiiect com or by calling the 24-hour project <br /> hotline at (877) 711-5169. <br />
