Special Conditions for -2- <br /> Sperry Road Extension Project <br /> ENCROACHMENT PERMIT <br /> 11. The City of Stockton shall be responsible for any and all costs associated with the <br /> relocation and/or adjustment of these facilities as determined by the County at City's <br /> expense. (Streets and Highways Code 1463) <br /> 12. All future maintenance of the pipeline and related facilities within the County right-of-way <br /> will require a San Joaquin County Encroachment Permit. <br /> 13. Contractor shall submit an exhibit displaying existing roadway and drainage grades within <br /> the construction area prior to construction. Any repair to roadways and adjacent areas <br /> shall match existing grades. Any proposed grade changes shall receive prior approval <br /> from County. <br /> 14. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure existing drainage improvements convey <br /> drainage during and after construction and match pre-construction conditions. <br /> 15. Submit detailed traffic control plans affecting County roads for review and approval prior <br /> to start of any work — no exceptions. <br /> 16. All traffic control plans shall adhere to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices <br /> (MUTCD). <br /> 17. EI Dorado Street road closure shall be limited to work hours between 6:30 am and 4:00 <br /> pm during the day of November 29, 2012 thru December 5, 2012, if any changes occur <br /> notify and provide the County revised dates at least 48 hours in advance. <br /> 18. Lane closures and flagging within County jurisdiction shall be limited to work hours <br /> between 6:30 am and 4:00 pm except where noted on the traffic control plans or <br /> approved by County engineer. <br /> 19. Two-way traffic shall be maintained during non-working hours with excavated areas <br /> backfilled or plated. During working hours, two-way traffic control shall be maintained <br /> with one lane open and appropriate flaggers. <br /> 20. Changeable Message Signboard (CMS) for traffic information as shown on traffic control <br /> plans are required and should be in place at least 1 week (7-days) prior to construction. <br /> 21. Any areas where parking is to be restricted shall have signs noticing the time period <br /> placed at least 48 hours in advance of the work. <br /> 22. School buses shall be passed through the work zone with minimal delay. <br />
