The Contractor must conduct earthwork operations so as not <br />to modify or obstruct the existing drainage. <br />6. <br />The Contractor will be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract with <br />a minimum 24 hours notice to the County. All <br />testing must conform to the Standard Specifications. All re—testing will be paid by the Contractor. <br />7. <br />The Contractor must exercise due caution and carefully preserve survey bench marks, control points, reference points and all survey stakes, and must bear all expenses for <br />replacement and/or errors caused by their unnecessary loss or disturbance. <br />8. <br />Hand grinding of roadway surfacing will be required at locations where existing highway and utility facilities are within the Cold Plane <br />Pavement and Pavement Repair limits. Payment <br />for hand grinding will be considered as included in the contract unit price paid for Planing Roadway Surfacing. <br />9. <br />Contact Road Maintenance at (209) 468-3074 and the Engineer at least 48 hours in advance of delivering planed/removed roadway <br />material. See Appendix of specifications for <br />delivery location/site map. <br />10. <br />All HMA used on the mainline and driveway conforms must be formulated using PG 70-10 asphalt binder.
