SAFE ACCESS FOR PEDESTRIANS SHALL BE <br />MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES IN ACCORDANCE <br />WITH “SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS CODE OF ORDINANCES”. <br />ALL NECESSARY SIGNS SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE <br />CALIFORNIA MUTCD AND APPROVAL BY THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC WORKS OR APPROVED DESIGNEE. <br />2. THIS PLAN SHALL COMPLY TO THE LATEST <br />EDITION OF THE CALIFORNIA MUTCD AND SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br />PUBLIC WORKS SPECIFICATIONS AND LATEST POLICIES. <br />3. APPROVAL OF THE TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN <br />DOES NOT GRANT THE RIGHT TO PERFORM <br />WORK IN THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY RIGHT OF WAY <br />UNTIL THE CONTRACTOR HAS RECEIVED AN <br />APPROVAL STREET WORK OR UTILITY PERMIT <br />FROM THE COUNTY. <br />4. ACCESS SHALL BE MAINTAINED TO ALL DRIVEWAYS <br />AT ALL TIMES UNLESS DRIVEWAY IS PART OF THE IMPROVEMENT <br />PROCESS. <br />5. BUS SERVICE AND GARBAGE SERVICE COMPANY TO BE NOTIFIED <br />ABOUT BUS STOP(S) IMPACT 48 HOURS PRIOR TO START OF ROAD WORK. <br />6. TEMPORARY TOW-AWAY NO STOPPING (NO <br />PARKING) SHALL BE PLACED 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE <br />IF NEEDED. <br />7. ANY CONFLICTING SIGNS SHALL BE COVERED <br />FOR THE LENGTH APPROVED ON THIS TRAFFIC <br />CONTROL PLAN.
