Placement of HMA Overlay must not begin until the HMA used in Pavement Repair has been in place for minimum of 18 hours. <br />3. Existing highway and utility facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />4. Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />5. Existing drainage facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. The Contractor must conduct earthwork operations so as not to modify or obstruct the existing drainage. <br />6. The Contractor will be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract with a minimum 24 hours notice to the County. <br />7. All testing must conform to the Standard Specifications. All re—testing will be paid by the Contractor. <br />8. The Contractor must exercise due caution and carefully preserve survey bench marks, control points, reference points and all survey stakes, and must bear all expenses for <br />J <br />replacement and/or errors caused by their unnecessary loss or disturbance. <br />cn <br />9. Hand grinding of roadway surfacing will be required at locations where existing highway and utility facilities are within the Cold Plane Pavement and Pavement Repair limits. Payment <br />for hand grinding will be considered as included in the contract unit price paid for Cold Planing Pavement. <br />10. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii must receive Penetration Treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard.
