Core data is unavailable; however, anticipate varying layers of base and roadway surfacing <br />materials within the sectional planing depth of the existing roadway. <br />3. Placement of HMA Overlay must not begin until the HMA used in Pavement Repair has <br />been in place for a minimum of 18 hours. <br />4. Placement of HMA driveways must not begin until the HMA used for Mainline Paving has <br />been completed. <br />5. Existing highway and utility facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />6. Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements must remain in <br />place unless otherwise noted. <br />7. Existing drainage facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. The Contractor <br />must conduct earthwork operations so as not to modify or obstruct the existing drainage. <br />8. All Earthwork, except for final shoulder grading, must be completed prior to placing the <br />final layer of HMA pavement. No Shoulder Backing material will be deposited or drifted on <br />the final layer of HMA surfacing. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii must receive Penetration Treatment at <br />0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of the Penetration Treatment work must be confined to <br />intersection radii plus fifty feet (50') in each direction or to the intersection conform. <br />10. The Contractor will be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all <br />facilities constructed under this contract with a minimum 24 hour prior notice to the <br />County. All testing must conform to the Standard Specifications. All re—testing will be paid <br />by the Contractor. <br />11. Prior to commencing any work, it will be the Contractor's responsibility to have each <br />utility company locate in the field their main service lines and laterals.
