CONTRACTOR SHALL BACK -FILL THE UPPER TWO-TIHIRDS OF THE <br />STREAM BANK AREAS RECEIVING ROCK SLOPE PROTECTION <br />(RIPRAP) WITH TOPSOIL THE TOPSOIL FILL SHOULD BE PLACED TO <br />FILL THE VOIDS IN THE ROCK SLOPE PROTECTION AND PROVIDE A <br />SUBSTRATE FOR REVEGETATION EFFORTS. THE SOIL SHALL BE <br />COMPACTED TO THE EXTENT POSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE FILLING OF <br />THE VOIDS AND STABILIZE THE FILL.
