C <br />0 <br />0 <br />N <br />N <br />E <br />W <br />Page No. 1 of 2 <br />Traffic Control Plans <br />UtilityAccess, Repairs &Improvements <br />Flagging Control <br />College Avenue &West Lane <br />San Joaquin County, CA <br />GENERAL NOTES <br />These traffic control plans conform to the latest edition of the MLITCD manual & are Intended for use by trained & licensed <br />traffic controllers/supervisors, with the addition of proper traffic devices and the knowledge of using them at all times. <br />The location, spacing & placement of the signs/channelizers within these plans are guidelines and may differ from actual <br />geld setup/conditions, depending on Grade, Alignment, posted speed & intersections. <br />Contractor shall notify all affected by traffic setup including local fire & law enforcement, ambulance services, public services, <br />residents & business within 72 hours before the start of any work. <br />All job sites shall appoint a designated persons) to maintain & uphold that the traffic control is maintained to meet standards <br />at all times and to provide any accommodations for non -motorists. <br />Pedestrian & disabled access shall be maintained at all times. Follow Local guidelines and/or MUTCD standards. <br />All signage shall conform to local agency standards or per the MUTCD manual. During non -working hours signage <br />& channelizers shall be removed or covered. <br />A minimum 10' (ten feet) travel lanes must be maintained at all times. <br />No Personal or equipment shall be within the buffer zone or transition areas at all limes. <br />NIGHT WORK: All signage and channelizers shall be outfitted with relroreflective and meet the standards of the local agency o <br />per MUTCD. Flashing Beacons/lights shall be used. Any flaggers shall meet code and be illuminated during non visible hours. <br />.Temporary traffic control plans are valid only in conjunction with a permit issued by the public works department or the local <br />controlling authority's. A temporary traffic control plan Itself is not a permit to preform work. <br />.
