These traffic control plans conform to the latest edition of the MUTCD manual & are intended for use by trained & licensedtraffic controllers/supervisors, with the addition of proper traffic devices and the knowledge o f using them at all times.2. The location, spacing & placement of the signs/channelizers within these plans are guidelines and may differ from actualfield setup/conditions, depending on Grade, Alignment, posted speed & intersections.3. Contractor shall notify all affected by traffic setup including local fire & law enforcement, amb ulance services, public services, <br />residents & business within 72 hours before the start of any work. <br />11. Contact underground service alert (811) 48 hours prior to any underground work. <br />9. NIGHT WORK: All signage and channelizers shall be outfitted with retroreflective and meet the standards of the local agency or <br />per MUTCD. Flashing Beacons/lights shall be used. Any flaggers shall meet code and be illuminated during non visible hours. <br />8. No Personal or equipment shall be within the buffer zone or transition areas at all times. <br />6. All signage shall conform to local agency standards or per the MUTCD manual. During non-working hours signage <br />& channelizers shall be removed or covered. <br />4. All job sites shall appoint a designated person(s) to maintain & uphold that the traffic control is maintained to meet standards <br />at all times and to provide any accommodations for non-motorists. <br />5. Pedestrian & disabled access shall be maintained at all times. Follow Local guidelines and/or MUT CD standards. <br />10.Temporary traffic control plans are valid only in conjunction with a permit issued by the public works department or the local <br />controlling authority's. A temporary traffic control plan itself is not a permit to preform work. <br />7. A minimum 10' (ten feet) travel lanes must be maintained at all times. <br />1.
