All concrete pipe joints with County road right:-of-way shall be sealed a,,aainst leakage and/or.infiltration with rubber gasket in COlll.7:lrmance with Section. 65-1:06 of the California standard Specifications, or with other methods ~maybe permitted under the: Special Provisions. · C. Cast-in-place concrete pipe, vitrified clay pipe, spiral welded steel pipe, or corrugated aluminum alfo.Y, pipe shall not be installed within the Coun1y road rights-of-way unless speci:fically so stared in the Special Provisions, and only under the conditions as provided. D, All structures to be 'buried within the County rights-of-way shaft lie set at such elevations as.to allow minimum coverage of thirty inches (30"') to the centerline of the roadways and twelve inches (12") at the bottoms of borrow ditches each side of the roadways. All pavements, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, b·orrow ditches, pipes, head walls, road signs, trees, shrubbery, and/or other permanent road facilities impaired by or as a result of construction operations at tlie consiruction site(s) occupied by materials and/or equipmeni;, shall be restored immediately upon backfilling of the eitcavation to the original grades md cross sections, and to a co11dition as good as, or better than existing prior to construction. R · All surfacing materials ofroadways and driveway approaches cut or damaged by or as· a result of consiructio~ operations, shall be replaced within'ONE 'WEEK following the backfilling of excavation, weather permitting, with compacted I.ayers of surfacing materials at least as thick as fue existing, and no less . thm two inches (2") of asphalt concrete over six inches (6") of aggregate base, both as specified below. . · ":h • Asphalt Concrete: Combined mineral aggregate shall conform to the quality and gradation requireme11ts for 'fype ''B" ·one-half inch(l/2) maximum aggregate, coarse or medium gradation as specified in Section 39 of the California Standard Specifications. The bituminous binder to be mixed with mineral aggregate shall be paving asphalt having (Grade PG 64-10), UJJless otherwise directed by the Engineer. Placement of asphalt concrete surfacing shall conform to the applicable provisions of Section 39 of the California Standard Specifications. 2. Aggregate Base: Combined mineral aggregates shall confon;n to the quality a11d the grading for three-quarter inch (3/4") maxim.lllll size aggregate Class 2 Aggregate Base specified in Section 26 of the California Standard Speci:fications. 1 Before acceptance of repairs to the County road rights-of-way, all unsightly and detrimental dirt, dust and/or debris shall be removed a11d the construction areas left in a neat and present.able condition(s). Driveway approaches and field entra11ce pavements damaged by equip.mentor spoil banks shall be ;epaired as directed by the Engineer. J.
