Overlay <br />L ----— j- <br />-----------------J <br />Existing Roadway TYPICAL SECTION: <br />Stu. 10+65 to Sta. 167+50 <br />GENERAL NOTES: <br />1. 0.20' Asphalt Concrete Surfacing shall be placed in One (1) Layer <br />with Pavement Reinforcing Fabric placed on existing surface. <br />2. Shoulder Backing Material at all intersection radii shall receive <br />penetration treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of <br />the penetration treatment work shall be confined to the <br />intersection radii plus fifty feet (50') in each direction or <br />to the intersection conform. <br />3. Placement of Asphalt Concrete Overlay shall not begin until the <br />Asphalt Concrete used in Pavement Repair has been in place <br />for 18 hours. <br />4. The Contractor shall conduct Shoulder Sacking operations so as <br />not to disturb or obstruct any existing drainage. <br />5. All earthwork, except final grading of the shoulders, shall be <br />completed prior to placing final layer of asphalt concrete. <br />No Shoulder Backing shall be deposited or drifted on the <br />final lift of asphalt concrete surfacing. <br />6. All existing frontage improvements shall remain in place unless <br />otherwise noted. <br />7.
