All exist trees, shrubs, utilities, fences, decorative and/or other frontage improvements are to remain in place unless otherwise noted. 2 Placement of Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt overlay shall not begin until the Asphalt Concrete used in Pavement Repair and AC (Miscellaneous Areas) has been in place for a minimum of 18 hours. 3. Hand Grinding of Asphalt Concrete is required at locations where gas and water valves, maintenance holes, monuments and detector hand—holes, are within the planing limits, Payment for hand grinding shall be considered as included in the unit price for Planing Asphalt Concrete Pavement. 4. The Contractor shall be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract. All testing shall conform to the Standard Specifications. All re—testing shall be paid for by the Contractor. 5. Install Expansion Joints at the beginning and end of all new sections of PCC 6. All new Curb, Gutter and Sidewalk shall match exist in kind and conform to the exist flowline elevations, with a straight grade between conforms. unless otherwise noted on the Plans. 7. In addition to quantities stated in the Summary of Quantities (See Sheet 11 of these Plans), the Resident Engineer will inspect the planed surface and determine any additional locations requiring Pavement Repair. 8. All 0.17' AC Planing shall be measured from the lip of the gutter. See Detail Sheet 11. 9.
