The Contractor shall obtain an Encroachment Permit and enter into an agreement with Union Pacific Railroad Co. for work and traffic control within UPRR Right of Way. 2. Placement of Asphalt Concrete overlay shall not begin until the Asphalt Concrete used in Pavement Repair has been in place for 18 hours. 3. The Asphalt Concrete shall be placed in two (2) layers; 0.15' AC Overlay over Pavement Reinforcing Fabric on top of 0.10' Leveling. 4. Hand Grinding of Asphalt Concrete Pavement will be required at locations where Water Valves are within Planing limits. 5. All earthwork (except for final shoulder grading) shall be completed prior to placing final layer of Asphalt Concrete. No Shoulder Backing material shall be deposited or drifted on the final layer of Asphalt surfacing. 6. The Contractor shall conduct the Shoulder Backing operations so as not to modify or obstruct the existing drainage. 7. All existing trees, shrubs, fences and other frontage improvements are to remain in place unless otherwise noted. 8. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii shall receive Penetration Treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of the Penetration Treatment work shall be confined to the intersection radii plus fifty feet (50') in each direction or to the intersection conform. 9. The Contractor shall be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract. All testing shall conform to the Standard Specifications. All re -testing shall be paid by the Contractor. 10. Water Valve and Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Hole Frame and Cover shall be adjusted to grade per City of Tracy Standards. Refer to City of Tracy Standard Plan and Drawing No. 114 & 301.
