The Contractor shall obtain an Encroachment Permit and enter into an agreement with Union Pacific Railroad Co. for work and traffic control <br />within UPRR Right of Way. <br />2. Placement of Asphalt Concrete overlay shall not begin until the Asphalt Concrete used in Pavement Repair has been in place for 18 hours. <br />3. The Asphalt Concrete shall be placed in two (2) layers; 0.15' AC Overlay over Pavement Reinforcing Fabric on top of 0.10' Leveling. <br />4. Hand Grinding of Asphalt Concrete Pavement will be required at locations where Water Valves are within Planing limits. <br />5. All earthwork (except for final shoulder grading) shall be completed prior to placing final layer of Asphalt Concrete. No Shoulder Backing <br />material shall be deposited or drifted on the final layer of Asphalt surfacing. <br />6. The Contractor shall conduct the Shoulder Backing operations so as not to modify or obstruct the existing drainage. <br />7. All existing trees, shrubs, fences and other frontage improvements are to remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />8. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii shall receive Penetration Treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of the Penetration <br />Treatment work shall be confined to the intersection radii plus fifty feet (50') in each direction or to the intersection conform. <br />9. The Contractor shall be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract. All testing <br />shall conform to the Standard Specifications. All re -testing shall be paid by the Contractor. <br />10. Water Valve and Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Hole Frame and Cover shall be adjusted to grade per City of Tracy Standards.
