Offsets are measured from the Center Line of Construction. <br />2. Asphalt Concrete Overlay 0.15' shall be placed in one (1) layer with <br />Pavement Reinforcing Fabric on Leveling Course, <br />3. All Pavement Repair, AC Leveling and AC Widening must be completed <br />12 hours prior to placement of asphalt concrete overlay. <br />4. All earthwork, except final grading of the shoulders, shall be completed <br />prior to placing final layer of asphalt concrete. No Shoulder Backing <br />shall be deposited or drifted onto the final lift of Asphalt Concrete <br />surfacing. <br />5. All mailboxes within the Project Limits shall be relocated by the Contractor <br />to 18' from the Center of Construction to the face of the Mailbox. <br />Shoulder Backing at Mailbox Box shall receive Penetration Treatment <br />of 2' wide by 20' long (See Details on Sheet No. 11), <br />6. All existing trees, shrubs, fences, concrete walks and other frontage <br />improvements are to remain in place unless noted otherwise. <br />7. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii shall receive Penetration <br />Treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard, Limits of the Penetration Treatment <br />shall be confined to the intersection radii plus fifty feet (50') in each <br />direction or to the intersection conform. <br />8. Hand Grinding of Asphalt Concrete Pavement will be required at locations <br />where survey monument and traffic loops are within the planing limits. <br />Payment for Hand Grinding shall be considered as included in the contract <br />unit price paid for Planing Asphalt Concrete Pavement. <br />9. The cost for saw cutting for roadway widening shall be included in the <br />Earthwork (Miscellaneous Areas) item of work, <br />10.
