Placement of Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay must not begin until the Hot Mix Asphalt used in Pavement Repair has been in place for a minimum <br />of 18 hours. <br />z Z 3. Placement of Hot Mix Asphalt Driveways must not begin until the Hot Mix Asphalt used for Mainline Paving has been completed. <br />3 4. Existing highway and utility facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />5. Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />E6. Existing drainage facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. The Contractor must conduct earthwork operations so as not to <br />modify or obstruct the existing drainage. <br />g 7. All Earthwork, except for final shoulder grading, must be completed prior to placing the final layer of Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement. No <br />Shoulder Backing material will be deposited or drifted on the final layer of Hot Mix Asphalt surfacing. Where the shoulder placement exceeds <br />0.50' in thickness, the Shoulder Backing must be placed in two (2) or more fully compacted layers. <br />8. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii must receive Penetration Treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard.
