Placement of HMA Overlay must not begin until the HMA used in Pavement Repair has been in place for a minimum of 18 hours. <br />3. Placement of HMA Driveways must not begin until the HMA used for Mainline Paving has been completed. <br />4. Existing highway and utility facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />5. Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />6. Existing drainage facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. The Contractor must conduct earthwork operations so as not to modify or obstruct the existing drainage. <br />7. All Earthwork, except for final shoulder grading, must be completed prior to placing the final layer of HMA overlay. No Shoulder Backing material will be deposited or drifted on the final <br />layer of HMA surfacing. Where the shoulder placement exceeds 0.50' in thickness, the Shoulder Backing must be placed in two (2) or more fully compacted layers. <br />8. The Contractor will be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract with a minimum 24 hour notice to the County. All <br />testing must conform to the Standard Specifications.
