No Shoulder Backing <br />material will be deposited or drifted on the final layer of HMA surfacing. Where the shoulder placement exceeds 0.50' in thickness, the ��j� c/n, <br />Shoulder Backing must be placed in two (2) or more fully compacted layers. OF CP��F <br />Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii must receive Penetration Treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of the Penetration <br />Treatment work must be confined to intersection radii plus fifty feet (50') in each direction or to the intersection conform. <br />The Contractor will be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract with a <br />minimum 24 hour notice to the County. All testing must conform to the Standard Specifications. All re—testing will be paid by the Contractor. <br />The Contractor must obtain an Encroachment Permit from the City of Stockton for traffic control within their jurisdiction.
