Placement of 0.15' HMA Overlay must not begin until the HMA used in Pavement Repair has been in place for a minimum of 18 hours. <br />3. Existing highway and utility facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />4. Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements must remain in place unless otherwise noted. V�' <br />5. Existing drainage facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. The Contractor must conduct earthwork operations so as not to modify or <br />obstruct the existing drainage. <br />6. All Earthwork, except for final shoulder grading, must be completed prior to placing the final layer of RHMA Pavement. No Shoulder Backing material <br />will be deposited or drifted on the final layer of RHMA surfacing. Where the shoulder placement exceeds 0.50' in thickness, the Shoulder Backing must <br />be placed in two (2) or more fully compacted layers. <br />7. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii must receive Penetration Treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of the Penetration Treatment <br />work must be confined to intersection radii plus fifty feet (50') in each direction or to the intersection conform. <br />8. The Contractor will be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract with a minimum 24 <br />hour notice to the County. All testing must conform to the Standard Specifications. All re—testing will be paid by the Contractor. <br />9. The Contractor must place temporary ramps on a slope of 30:1 (horizontal:vertical) or flatter to the level of the planed area for two bridge conforms <br />and PCC tractor crossing conform areas after planing operation. Ramp materials must be consistent with that of the roadbed (or roadway) surface <br />that it is to be placed upon. Payment for this work will be considered as included in the various items of work. <br />10. The Contractor must obtain an Encroachment Permit from Sacramento County for traffic control or any work within the Sacramento County jurisdiction. <br />Payment for this will be considered to be included in the various items of work. <br />11. Removal of AC Dikes where shown on the plan shall be done in such a manner as not to damage the existing AC surface below the dike.
