The Contractor shall be responsible for adequately scheduling the inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract. All testing shall conform to the Standard Specifications. All re -testing shall be paid by the Contractor. 7. Hand grinding of Asphalt Concrete will be required at locations where existing water valves, maintenance holes, utility vaults and monuments are within the Planing and Pavement Repair limits. 8. All Storm Drain Inlets shall be protected from liquid runoff sediments and chemical pollutant in a manner consistent with the requirements of the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), General Construction Permit and per Special Provisions. 9.
