The Contractor shall be responsible for adequately scheduling the <br />inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this <br />contract. All testing shall conform to the Standard Specifications. <br />All re -testing shall be paid by the Contractor. <br />7. Hand grinding of Asphalt Concrete will be required at locations <br />where existing water valves, maintenance holes, utility vaults and <br />monuments are within the Planing and Pavement Repair limits. <br />8. All Storm Drain Inlets shall be protected from liquid runoff sediments <br />and chemical pollutant in a manner consistent with the requirements <br />of the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), <br />General Construction Permit and per Special Provisions. <br />9. Install Expansion joints at the beginning and end of new Curb, <br />Gutter and Sidewalk. <br />10. All new Curb, Gutter and Sidewalk shall match existing and conform to <br />the existing flowline elevations, with a straight grade between conforms. <br />11. Shoulder Backing Material at all intersection radii shall receive Penetration <br />Treatment at 0.25 gallon/SQYD.
