The Contractor shall conduct earthwork operations so as not to <br />modify or obstruct the existing drainage. <br />7. Remove metal ramp driveway plates (2) on Calaveras Avenue at <br />Sta 15+60 (Lt) & 19+60 (Lt) & leave on the resident's property away <br />from construction activity. Placement of Asphalt Concrete overlay shall not begin until the <br />Asphalt Concrete used in Pavement Repair has been in place <br />for 18 hours. <br />2. Asphalt concrete overlay shall be placed in one (1) layer <br />with pavement reinforcing fabric placed on existing surface. <br />3. No Shoulder Backing shall be deposited or drifted on the final layer of <br />Asphalt Concrete surfacing. If the shoulder placement exceeds <br />0.30' in thickness, the Shoulder Backing shall be placed in <br />two (2) fully compacted layers of approximate equal thickness. <br />4. Existing highway and utility facilities, including bollards, roadside <br />signs, trees, shrubs, fences, utility poles and other frontage <br />improvements shall remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />5. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii shall receive <br />penetration treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard.
