Prior to commencing any work, it shall be the Contractors responsibility to hove each utility company locate in the field their main and service lines. The contractor shall notify Underground Service Alert (USA), at 1-800-277-2600 at least 48 hours in advance of performing excavation work. 2. All existing trees, shrubs, fences, drainage facilities and other improvements shall remain in place unless otherwise noted. 3. Asphalt Concrete shall be placed in one (1) layer with Pavement Reinforcing Fabric placed over existing pavement. 4. Placement of Asphalt Concrete Overlay shall not begin until the Asphalt Concrete used in Pavement Repair has been in place for 18 hours. 5. Placement of all Asphalt Concrete Driveways shall not begin until the Asphalt Concrete used for Mainline Paving has been in place for a minimum of 18 hours. 6. The Contractor shall be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under this contract. All testing shall conform to the Standard Specifications. All re—testing shall be paid for by the Contractor._ 7. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii shall receive Penetration Treatment at 0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of the Penetration Treatment work shall be confined to intersection radii plus fifty feet (50') in each direction or intersection conform. No Shoulder Backing material shall be deposited or drifted on Asphalt surfacing. 9. Clean existjng cross drain culverts at Station 28+54, Station 51+95, Station 110+97, and Station 173+15. Payment shall be included in the Clearing and Grubbing pay item. 10. Temporary Stop Signs, Legends and Markers shall be established at 'the end of each work day and as approved by the Engineer. 11. No Safety Edge at box culverts, driveways and Oak View School paved asphalt concrete frontage. 12. Driveway reconstruction at school shall conform at fence gate. 13. Payment for removal and disposal of driveway corrugated metal pipes at School shall be included in the Place School—Furnished 12? Diameter Reinforced Concrete Driveway Pipe (Class IV) pay item.
