Placement of Asphalt Concrete Overlay shall not begin until the Asphalt Concrete used in Pavement Repair has been in place for a minimum of 18 hours. 3. Placement of Asphalt Concrete Driveways shall not begin until the Asphalt Concrete used for Mainline Paving has been completed. 4. Hand grinding of Asphalt Concrete Pavement will be required at location where stop sign is within planing limits. 5. Existing highway and utility facilities shall remain in place unless otherwise noted. 6. Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements shall remain in place unless otherwise noted. 7. Existing drainage facilities shall remain in place unless otherwise noted. The Contractor shall conduct earthwork operations so as not to modify or obstruct the existing drainage. 8. All earthwork, except for final shoulder grading, shall be completed prior to placing final layer of Asphalt Concrete Pavement. No Shoulder Backing material shall be deposited or drifted on the final layer, of Asphalt Concrete surfacing. Where the shoulder placement exceeds 0.30 in thickness, the Shoulder Backing shall be placed in two (2) or more fully compacted layers.
