GENERAL NOTES: <br />1. Existing highway and utility facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />2. Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements must remain in place unless otherwise <br />noted. <br />3. Existing drainage facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. The Contractor must conduct earthwork <br />operations so as not to obstruct the existing drainage. <br />4. Place Survey Monument Frame and Cover and Earthwork (Miscellaneous Areas) must be completed prior to placing <br />of Geosynthetic Reinforced Chip Seal. <br />5, The Contractor will be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all facilities constructed under <br />this contract with a minimum 24 hour notice to the County. All testing must conform to the Standard <br />Specifications. All re—testing will be paid by the Contractor. <br />6. The Contractor must enter into an Agreement with the Central California Traction Railroad for any work within the <br />Railroad's right—of—way.
